About Me
Hello everyone! I'm a student at Ca' Foscari University in Venice, Italy. I'm doing a master in Chinese Language, Society and Institutions. I'm form Pergola, a small town located in the centre of Italy, with a lovely city center surrounded by round hills. I love nature, but I like cities too because they're full of different faces and cultures, ideas and aspirations.
Now, I live in Venice and I'm a member of ESN, the Erasmus Student Network. I enjoy meeting people from different countries, getting to know their lifestyles and cultures and helping them integrate in the city we're living in.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm here on Couchsurfing because every time I travel abroad something's always missing. I go to places and eat local food, but I always find it hard to approach local people. I'd like this to change so that I can enjoy my trip to its fullest and go back home with better memories and knowledge of the place I visited.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite musician and singer is Patrick Watson. I also love Daughter, Bon Iver, Florence and The Machine, Cage the Elephant, Mac DeMarco and Paolo Nutini. I listen to Italian music as well, the artists I listen to the most are Fulminacci, Niccolò Fabi, I Cani, but also the older ones like De André, Gino Paoli and Franco Battiato.
My favourite movie is Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, followed by Inception and Call Me By Your Name.
One of the writers I've read the most is Banana Yoshimoto. I also like John Green and Zerocalcare. My favourite book is Oceano Mare by Alessandro Baricco. I'm currently reading The Second Sex by Simone de Beauvoir.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once I found a lost dog in a town that I didn't know and with the help of some strangers living there I was able to bring it back to his home.
My town was flooded a week ago (sept. 2022). I went back there with my friends and with many other people from my town we helped those who lost their houses. It was a touching experience for me, to see people that I usually see walking around the town but never talk with, working together with me to do something great. It reminded me of that scene in Finding Nemo, where all the fish caught in the fishing net start swimming in the same direction and eventually free themselves from the fishermen.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm a easygoing person, I like chatting but also listening. I'm neither a great cook nor a great musician, but I know how to cook well a few dishes and play a few songs with the piano and the ukulele. I'm clean and extremely tidy. In my town we produce a liquor made of wine and small cherries, it's sweet...we can share a bottle if you want :)
