Overview
About Me
I am an always-busy Italian girl graduated at the Catholic University of Milan. I was born in Urbino, but at the age of 8 I moved with my family to the North, in a small village between Como and Varese.
I like to engage in good causes: volunteering is becoming my thing :) I care a lot about the environment and the animals (especially the animals).
It is quite impossible for me to get bored, I can be fascinated by the simplest things! Usually I am really talkative and social, and I am also extremely sportive: I can't really sit down all day long.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love traveling! Lately it has become a sort of addiction to me. I am always eager to visit new places, meet new people and get in touch with different cultures. I like to experience things that I couldn't find in my daily life :)
Couchsurfing seems to me the best way to satisfy my highest expectations for a trip: by living with a stranger you get to see the "real part" of a city, not just the touristic side + you can make new friends, which is always great!
Interests
I've always been practicing sports, since I was 4. Now I'm a long jumper and a runner and the trainings are part of my daily routine :)
I also like reading a lot, going for a walk in the Swiss mountains, going to the cinema and to the clubs to dance sometimes.
I would like to learn playing the harmonica these days and in the future I would probably try to do something art-related.

Music, Movies, and Books
MUUUUUUUSIC: my favorite singer has always been Michael Jackson! I've had periods of different kinds of music in the past... I remember being completely lost for metal music when I was younger (Rammstein was the coolest group at the time), now I shifted to more electronic music. I like Kaytranada, Flume, CHVRCHES, The XX, Oh Wonder, WEEKEND WOLVES, Zeds Dead. But I can't live without The Neighbourhood, The 1975, Thirty Seconds to Mars and Paramore. It mainly depends on my mood, I enjoy many styles. The only ones I don't like are country music and, normally, rap music (with few exceptions).
MOVIEZ: a movie night with popcorn is the nicest thing to do at home! I can't watch horror movies alone, I'd be too scared to sleep then :P
I prefer movies like Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain, About Time and so on... (I definitely appreciate any kind of magic!)
PS. I also like anime! Hayao Miyazaki's works are my favorite!! Especially Spirited Away, I've always felt related to Chihiro. Paprika is another great anime I re-watch sometimes.
BOOKS: Banana Yoshimoto is the first author I have to cite! Then I like Jonathan Safran Foer, Isabel Allende, J.K. Rowling (of course), Niccolò Ammaniti, Charles Baudelaire, Oscar Wilde, Edgar Allan Poe, Fabio Geda...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I guess I will always be proud to say that I defended a little girl from some bullies when I was 6 and then her and I became really good friends!
Also, a couple of years ago I rescued two dogs who were brutally invested by a car that didn't even stop.
Teach, Learn, Share
Do what you praise people! If you believe in something, if you have strong values, please act keeping them in mind, don't turn the other side when you see something you don't like :)
