CURRENT MISSION
learn, discover, explore, love
ABOUT ME
We will celebrate 30 years of marriage. We have two kids...NYC,and China! Our 10 year old Airedale terrier is one of the family- strong willed, and very loving. Connecticut has been home for 16 years. We love to travel and meet people. Our most recent trip of interest was across China. Another was an epic journey across the USA, driving coast to coast taking in 13 National Parks. USA is a beautiful and vast resource. We have been to Asia, South America, Australia, Europe. Africa is on our bucket list.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe that by meeting people we can build bridges to eliminate prejudice and eradicate stereotyping one person at a time.
I believe that we can either be a light for others or a mirror to enhance the light that is already present.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
First, CS was in France meeting people for a drink or an overnight stay. Once home we hosted 2 CS parties for CSers in the area. We surfed (for 39 days)across the USA- met amazing people and felt connected with each CSer. At an Ale House in Milwaukee, we met Milwaukee' CS group. Very dynamic. A new Eastern Connecticut CS group is hatching! We hosted Korean CSers and loved it!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
CSing makes traveling synonymous with connecting. Meals with others, playing games, sharing maps, trails, recipes or laughs while being a guest or a host can change the human condition from a lonely experience to one where the light of another's life and energy flows.
