CURRENT MISSION
Be passionate and brave. And explore.
ABOUT ME
I am currently living in New Orleans and employed by Royal Artists, for which I paint floats for the Hermes parade. I just moved here a couple months ago after graduating from the Art Academy of Cincinnati. I met my boyfriend Michael up there, and I managed to lure him down to Louisiana with me with the help of Abita Beer and crawfish etouffee.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've been moving around a lot and living in tiny studio apartments, so only recently have I had acquired an apartment big enough for guests. Now that the Mardi Gras off season is coming up, and I won't be working 80 hours a week I hope to have some guests finally.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I stayed on a couch outside of Charleston a couple years back and had a blast. I also got stranded in NYC when I was promised a couch and the guy didn't pick up his phone despite calling up all night. But no worries. Everyone knows somebody who knows somebody in NYC, and I a found a great host after a few phone calls.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 16 I stayed with a family in Japan for three weeks. We were in a small suburb of Nagoya, and the national sumo wrestling championships were in town. My host mother took me to this courtyard where all the famous wrestlers practiced. The two of us, along with my host sisters and local sumo fans stood around and watched the greatest sumo wrestlers in the nation slap into eachother. Very cool.
