Overview
About Me
I'm a lively recently retired pharmacist who loves getting to know people. I enjoy amongst other activities live arts, an eclectic mix of music, walking the local countryside and swimming. I'm involved with a community choir and a local storytelling group. I love food and cook an international menu. I volunteer for Hull2017 and Open Doors, a local charity welcoming asylum seekers and refugees to Hull. My husband and I live approximately 2 miles outside Hull city centre on a major bus route close to the University.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Hull is City of Culture 2017 and its an exciting place to be. My husband and I are volunteers and would love to share what is going on in this great city of ours. We have three adult sons who have flown the nest so have space. We also like to travel the world and really enjoy staying with people who love their home towns and can give valuable insights into the area.
