I'm an Irish 24 year old engineer who's taking a sabbatical in 2018 to travel the world and pursue a music career.
I recently recorded and released an album and fell in love with music production and I want to play music professionally.
During my sabbatical, I want to travel to almost every USA city with a musical identity. In each city, I want to soak up the local music and write in that style.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In a 7 week period (from April - June), I'm travelling between the following cities with my guitar:
Seattle - Portland - San Francisco - Las Vegas - Los Angeles - San Diego - Austin - San Antonio - New Orleans - Jackson - Memphis - Graceland - Chicago - New York.
I'm going to try to write a song about my experience in each city in the style of that city. So I'm hoping that when I finish my trip, I'll have roughly 20 songs written.
It's a huge challenge, but I'm up for it!

The travel costs for this trip are insane so I'm trying to find couches to surf on for as much of the trip as possible.

I released a music album "Friendly Shores" on my own dime. Although that was a lready kinda said above so I'll say something else........ I once threw Jimmy Fallon out of a bar because he asked me to.
