ABOUT ME

I am very sensitive, kind and caring. I put others first, sometimes to a fault. I am artistic, and witty. I can be quite funny and spontaneous. Most people when they meet me notice my Zen like energy...I've worked hard at that :) I meditate, do yoga and hike when I can. I love to wander and explore places on foot. I like adventure and the arts :)

PHILOSOPHY

Heal yourself...change the world. It starts within us to examine, heal and transcend to find our calling here on Earth. I also feel we have our lifetime to get there!

I'm just beginning this process but I am excited about it!

anything spiritual and esoteric....I love ballroom dancing and took lessons, I sing and have tried my hand at writing music..sang for an Italian Wedding Orchestra, but now it's mainly karaoke night!
I love animals and have only one cat now, but have had them all my life, and visit them as I walk around the neighborhood.
I love food and eating out, cooking when I'm in the right mood is great.
I like to be by the water front or in the woods even though I live in the city.

Movies : Fierce Light, Scared Sacred, The Shawshank Redemption, Out of Africa, On Golden Pond....ok these are old...but I still love them....When Harry Met Sally

Music: Alanis Morrissette, Sarah McLaughlin, Ella Fitzgerald, Portishead, Bjork, Fleetwood Mac, David Grey, 80's and 70's...not into electronic much, or heavy metal, or rap ( although some is amazing) It's easier to say what I dont' like...that's it! Oh, classical violin when the sound is too high makes my skin crawl, and I'm not much on scat or freeform jazz.

Books: I am currently reading Sacred Contracts by Carolyn Myss. I read a lot of self-help and psychology in the old days. Now it's more about learning my various healing or spiritual traditions...shamanism, chakras, etc.
I am also in process of writing a book!
