About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Going to as many cool places and meeting as many cool people as possible before I stop being eligible for student discounts!
ABOUT ME
Hey,
So, my name's Cath, I'm a PhD student, I live in Cambridge, a city I know incredibly well as I was born here and have lived her for the past 9 years (except for a year in Paris). I love travelling (but not being a tourist), meeting new people, experiencing new things, making a fool out of myself my attempting to learn new languages (currently Arabic - SO hard). My main hobby (except for usual stuff like cinema, sports, etc.) is planning ridiculous trips on shoestring budgets - last March I went overland with a group of friends from Beijing to Finland, via Mongolia and Russia, travelling by plane, train, automobile, Russian army jeeps, yaks... It was amazing. I recently won a competition on the Guardian website for offering the best tip on how to pack a 50 litre backpack, proving that I should possible spend more time working on my PhD than I do planning and going on trips...
