I have one of the best jobs in the world... I teach English as a foreign language... It feeds my love of traveling, seeing places and experiencing cultures.

Couchsurfing is such an amazing, yet obvious, idea. This is how the world should be. In this age, when fear is so popular in the western world, it's wonderful to be able to meet complete strangers and share great experiences with them.

I have travelled a lot and the best part has always been meeting local people & experiencing their different ways of living.

兴趣

I used to do an awful lot of running, cycling, swimming and triathlon, so if you're into any of that we'll have plenty to talk about. These days I spend time practising yoga and I'm working on training my mind to meditate.

Other interests are reading, walking, learning about nature and spending time in the natural world, growing things, vegetarian cooking and of course travelling!

音乐、电影和书籍

I mostly read fiction, stories set in different parts of the world, adventure stories, books about journeys, be they spiritual or physical. I've just read A Place of Refuge, the amazing story of a couple who opened up their woodland family home in Somerset to some of society's most vulnerable and troubled people, creating a peaceful community of people working towards sustainable living.

I've yet to see a film that I think is better than 12 Angry Men. Others that pop to mind.... Tracks, Into the Wild, The Way, The Rabbit Proof Fence...

Listening to all sorts of music makes me happy. It's mood dependant :)
