About Me

Hello!
For starters, I'm an easygoing person who enjoy meeting new people, talking and laughing, going outside, playing volleyball or any other sport.. if we're having a good times between friends, I'll be happy. I also love to travel, discovering new cities, new landscape and people with different culture. I like to learn about new opinions and new visions of the world.

Other than that, I'm studying biomedical engineering at Polytechnique in Montreal and next year will be my last one before I graduate and I can't wait! But for now, I'm taking the summer to do a road trip with my best friend (another Catherine) across the USA!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I just mentioned, we're two Catherine (you can see her Couchsurfing profile here:https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/catherine-poitras-3) doing a road trip. I love the concept of Couchsurfing because it's about sharing and helping others and it provide a way to travel that is much more interesting since we're easily meeting people that are actually living in the city we want to know more about.

As Couchsurfers this month, we'll both be happy to meet whoever offers his couch to us and we are always ready to do activities with new people. But don't worry, we also know how to respect the space of others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I survived two surgeries that implied me to have a metal bar in my chest for three years, and then remove it. It was pretty cool :p

Teach, Learn, Share

We brought some activities with us like longboards, spike ball and a volley ball if you don't know how to play, we'll be more than happy to show you! Along with that, cooking skills and recipes from other places are always nice to learn.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you want to have diner with us, we'll be happy to cook it as a acknowledgement of your hospitality :) or we could have a good beer, any idea is good.
