Overview
About Me
I am studying applied literal and cultural studies since autumn 2018, which is what I'm really passionate about. My friends would describe me as talkative and bubbly, but I can be quiet at times, I promise :)
Before studying in Dortmund I already worked in an industrial enterprise as industrial management assistant and studied business administrations parallel to that. While the job wasn't bad or anything it's not really something I'm good at or where I can excel. That's why I figured it would be best to make a fresh start at something I burn for, and so far I haven't got any regrets.
While I'm open-minded and easy to talk to, I also quite enjoy calmer hobbies, I love to read, write journal, doing yoga or even knitting.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think the best part about traveling is getting to know locals and their approach towards everything, which is often a very mundane but also private thing. Sometimes it will do to just observe, for example in a restaurant or on trains (I'm sounding like a creep here), but other times it would be so insightful to hear what someone from the very country or city is thinking, or just to get some tips on which café serves the best tea :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm really into reading, I often read women's fiction, but also a lot of young adult novels (guilty pleasure) or non-fiction, but also a lot of the english classics.
For television I usually consume Netflix, I liked La casa de papel (hope that's the right title), Bojack Horseman, Stranger things, House of cards, Grimm and Star Trek.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
While visiting Japan I couldn't quite believe how helpful and friendly everybody was towards us. We had bought a railway ticket, which you had to show to an official staff member everytime you went to the station and they always were sincerely happy about us visiting and being openminded and curious. That was a really wholesome experience.
