My name is Catherine. I've been seeing the world in between work and studying, on and off, since 2012. It's been a whirlwind. The people I have met have been a wonderful part of travelling, and it is always exciting to get to know someone who I may not have had the opportunity to meet otherwise.

I finished a science degree in 2013 and am now studying politics and international studies. In between all this I've had a number of odd jobs, from call centres to the Australian Open, waitressing to retail. But the most exciting one is coming up - ushering at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival!

Easily, fashion is my biggest interest. I am always shopping and keeping an eye out for outfits that inspire and excite me. This stems to my interest in photography, so you'll always see me snapping away or on Instagram. Also food! I am always trying new things. I may have recently gone to Vietnam and spent 90% of the trip seeking out different dishes.

Really enjoy foreign films and documentaries, but love cheesy comedies too. My favourite films off the top of my head would include Y tu Mama Tambien, Pretty in Pink, and The Science of Sleep.

I listen to a fair amount of electronic and house music at the moment. Recently went to Melt Music Festival, just outside of Berlin, it was the most incredible experience.

Paragliding in Rio de Janeiro was an unforgettable experience. We were unlucky enough to get clouds and rain every day of our trip until the day before we were about to leave! It was an absolute blessing that we managed to have a day of clear blue skies for our chance to paraglide onto the beach.
