About Me

*I can't host anybody until end of march, since someone is staying at my place in the room I normally use for the couchsurfers...*

I waited a long long time before inscribing me on Couchsurfing. I often hosted people before - however not through this website - and I like it very much to get to know new people with whom I have things in common on this way.

About me: I'm half French, half German. I've been living in Paris for a long time, first as a german teacher, then as a translator. In the last years of Paris, I fell in love with Berlin and have been living between the two cities, travelling to Berlin each time I could find someone interested in an apartment switch. And now, I'm living in Berlin "completely" since almost 2 years.
The next step in my life has to do with digital nomadism. Actually I can work from anywhere, as long as I have an Internet access. So I want to put this in practice, travelling more, and overall travelling slowly.
Actually my hole life is about getting each time more freedom.

Please do read my profile also if I'm not a verified member. I just came on this website for first time and don't understand why I have to pay for being verified: isn't it against the philosophy of couchsurfing? I prefer to trust the people I receive and to hear what my intuition says to me during our exchanges. And I wish other people will do the same with me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm curious about people. So I'm curious about the experience Couchsurfing may give to me to know people on another way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It was October. I was sitting at a lake in Berlin and reading. It was autumn, fresh and peaceful. A few people were playing in the sand with their children. A family arrived with a little girl, around nine years old, who took her cloths of in a second and run into the water, shouting "But it isn't cold at all!" Everyone looked at her with big eyes, while she was swimming and playing in the water.
And I learned: it's all in my head! It's most a question of attitude to enjoy life or not. :-)

Teach, Learn, Share

I like very much the idea of exchange. So I like to think about what I could leave you if you host me. For example, a little tango initiation. Or a massage. Or the best guacamole ever (as they said me). Or... well, we'll think about it.
