Because I live in one of the most beautiful cities in the world, love it and want to help travelers love it, too. When a local tells you about the city, you perceive the place differently.

Interesses

I love my city partly because of so many events happen there all the time, I try to stay up-to-date and can give hints on where to go to have fun (festivals, outdoor events, activities, interesting cafes and bars). I love walking and prefer to explore the city on foot.
I dance boogie-woogie but I'm always enthusiastic about trying other dances.
I read a lot and watch a lot of movies. Also, I like board games.
A bit of a beer geek.

My favourite movies include What Dreams May Come, K-Pax, Love Actually, Awakenings and some others.
Jonathan Safran Foer's books impress me a lot, I like almost everything by Mikhail Bulgakov. My favourite poems are by emotional Vladimir Mayakovskiy. And yes, I love Harry Potter books.
Awesome TV shows that I watched - Scrubs, Dr. Horrible, Sherlock.

I can teach you some Russian as I'm professional Russian as a foreign language teacher. I can also teach you the basics of rock-n-roll dances. I can also teach you to cook some Russian dishes.

Saint Petersburg is not only Russian cultural capital but also gastronomical. I try to keep up to date with this rapidly changing sphere and can advise places to eat. I enjoy even the touristic places of spb and can happily show around the most common places without being bored. I would be delighted to meet other dancers and show them places where to dance swing. I can show the places where to make wishes in spb:)
