Overview
About Me
My name is Catherine and I'm living in Saint-Fulgence, a little village by the Saguenay fjord, in Québec. I'm a grad student in literature and I love arts in general. I enjoy living in a village with my friends, being in nature and cycling everywhere I can. I'm happy to be outdoors as often as possible: I like hiking, skiing, walking in the forest, playing tennis and different sports with my friends. Most of the time when I'm at home, I'm reading, writing, listening to music and making art projects with my friends. I like being part of a community :)
As I'll be traveling with my partner Alex, here's his short bio:
My name is Alex and I live in Sainte-Rose-du-Nord in Saguenay, Québec. I love to spend time in the forest, enjoy cooking - and eating! - and spend time with friends and loved ones. I'm a professional outdoors guide (Nordic skiing and kayaking) working mostly around my village. I've traveled a bit around the world but, nowadays, I'm looking for experiences of slow local travel.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To share, to be with people and to learn more about local places.
I refreshed my Couchsurfing account as I'm planning a trip in Newfoundland with my partner Alex. For us, CS is an opportunity to meet locals and have a more in depth experience of the communities and territories we visit.
