Overview
About Me
I am a 22 year old Australian/ South African. I just finished an anthropology degree and before deciding what else to study I am taking a gap year! I love the ocean, reading, movies, eating, hiking and pretending to be able to surf and draw.
My focus this trip is to really listen to people, learn from them and see how they live. I also want to have fun and learn to be comfortable in all my surroundings. My travel style: swimming, art galleries, ice cream, siestas, petting every dog, walking the streets and second hand stores.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I choose couch surfing because I want a more authentic travel experience. I want to travel for as long as possible and this will also help my budget. I am passionate about collaborative economy, I think it is important that we all share and help each other! In all, I want to make good friends and see things!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm extremely lucky and I've done a lot of amazing things thanks to my beautiful, supportive family. One to mention is my time working on a boat on the great barrier reef in exchange for free dives, I got to do some night dives with reef sharks and it was incredible.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can't cook at all but I am very good at doing the dishes :). I can offer you some company, conversation, I am clean, considerate and open to new experiences! I am also accepting of all people, culturally sensitive and easy to talk to. I also come with a sleeping bag and mat. I am out most of the day exploring and am careful about respecting people's preferences and personal space. I like to give lots of complements and share pointless animal facts. I am excited to hopefully meet you!
