About Me
Hi! I am new to couchsurfing, but my sister travels a lot and she is currently in India using this website so she can spend her money on experiences rather than room and board! I am a senior at Tamaqua Area High School, Pennsylvania on the college visit journey. I am originally from Australia and I love to meditate, do yoga, and learn about EVERYTHING I CAN. I have always been a curious soul and I am open minded when it comes to other people and the world. I absolutey love meeting new people and hearing their story(-ies I hope!) To give you an idea on my attitude, I am one of six children (the second youngest...yeah, not so fun. haha.), 1st in my class, have been working under a verteinarian and at a boarding stable for the past 5 years, and am an avid equestrian; I believe that success is a personal choice but that it isnt something we can do alone. I didn't have the smoothest childhood but I rose from the ashes and continue to do so each and every day, and I love helping others do the same, helping others see the worth in themselves and the people around them!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
i love to travel, but hotels are boring! I'd much rather be in the company of an interesting, novel individual (or individuals). I feel you learn more about youself this way and also maintain the open mind that is healthy in today's developing, incessantly evolving world!
Interests
I play guitar and and am currently the lead singer in a local band (just for fun because why not?!) I love to EAT home-cooked meals although I was never a great hand in the kitchen. I am a gym rat and sometimes a workaholic, but everybody needs some of that good stuff in their life!

Music, Movies, and Books
I dont have a favorite song, movie or book because, Oh my! there are so many GREAT ones! Tuesdays with Morrie was a great read and The Weight by The Band is easy listening, however!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I trained an appendix who was abused, and after a 5-year long process I was able to sell her to a beautiful, loving individual! This mare taught me patience, compromise, and how to work as on unit, among many other things. Life changing experience!
What I Can Share with Hosts
My colorful background. I know my time on this wonderful earth has been brief so far, but I have quite a few stories to share with anyone who would like to listen. My ears are always open and welcoming as well!
