Born in Papua New Guinea to Australian parents, my life has been a flip flop between the two countries.
I started and finished school in PNG at an international school with a long period of 9.5 years in Australia in between.

I've never lived in one place for longer than 4 years at a time so I find it hard to imagine ever being grounded.

My friends are spread out all over the world - it's simultaneously my greatest joy and biggest heartache.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am excited about a way of travel that encourages new friendships from the start and opens up opportunities to meet likeminded (or not so likeminded, haha) people. People fascinate me and I think that those who are willing to open up their homes to a stranger are a special kind of person.

Interests

I'm a huge fan of being barefoot, beaches, good company, reading, photography, long conversations, climbing trees, running, days exploring cities, time spent in any form of nature, checking experiences off my bucket-list and travel.

I'm fascinated by new cultures, languages and anything geography.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked to the top of Table Mountain in Cape Town (midday during summer, not our smartest move!!)

Skydiving was my latest adrenalin rush and it was one of the best things that I've ever done!

Created a hospitality movement with two friends after travelling the world together for 21 months and volunteering with refugees in numerous countries.

Learn: Other Languages, guitar, anything new!

Share: Although I can't host currently, if you have a day we can explore some of my favourite local places - beaches, cafes, lookouts, walking tracks, cliff jumping spots etc.
