Hi there!

My name is Catherine from the good ole southern state of Texas. I quit my job in August 2016 to travel and spent 14 months in South America and arrived to Australia in late January 2018. I have a huge passion for travel, exploring new place and meeting new people. I love to go hiking, long walks around new places, swimming, snorkeling, and basically anything that involves the outdoors. I'm a very chill laid back person and love a good adventure!

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I'm fairly new to couch surfing but I'm looking to meet some locals around the town and get to know the people and places in a different way than I wouldn't normally have the chance if I stayed in a hostel or hotel. I love seeing how the locals live and getting the locals perspective on a new city I'm visiting.

I've also turned to couch surfing as part of my journey in figuring out the next chapter in my life. After recently quitting my job and traveling, I'm unsure what I want to do next. It intrigues me to hear about others life stories and travel stories to see how they got to where they are today.
