Overview
About Me
Well heyyyy there! About me....well I got involved with couchsurfing when I went on an 8 month trip around the world starting at the end of 2017, and was fortunate enough to stumble my way into this magical little community! Some of my absolute favorite stories and times came as the result of couchsurfing. Met so SO many wonderful people, and experienced generosity on a whole new level. NOW, I’m still kind of traveling, but just around the USA, and hopefully will be able to start hosting once I find a place to settle down for a bit! I can’t wait to continue to meet travelers and be a part of this community that I’ve come to love SO much!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As I mentioned above, I traveled with a friend of mine for a while around the world. As neither of us had secret stashes of millions laying under our mattresses at home, we initially became interested in couchsurfing as a way to save money while traveling. However, after our first experience couchsurfing, we realized how much more there was to be gained!
Our number one favorite thing about couchsurfing is the relationships we have been able to form with the people we've met, as well as getting to really know people who actually live in the places we visit! It's been a really cool way to get outside of just the international backpacking community and have some more local experiences.
It's also an incredible way to experience how kind and generous so many people in this world are! Hoping I will somehow, someday be able to repay to others all the kindness that has been shown to me, especially through my travels over the last year.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am terrible at favorites, but currently loving James Arthur and San Fermin Band. I'm currently reading The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand and it is blowing my mind. Other favorites include The Little Rain by Madeleine L'Engle, A Severe Mercy by Sheldon Vanauken, and Infidel by Ayaan Hirsi Ali.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've been a nurse--pretty amazing stuff there. Also been to see Iguazu Falls in Argentina/Brazil, which transcends this world in beauty and power.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love food--cooking, eating, grocery shopping--every part, and I love sharing that with other people. I also love picking up a guitar or ukelele or using a spare keyboard if one is around and singing/jamming with people!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love meeting and talking to and learning from people from all over the world, so hopefully I can share in good conversation, and hopefully make you laugh once or twice!
