----------------------------
I am a law student currently living in a student apartment Dublin, Ireland. I grew up in the Irish countryside on a dairy and stud farm (cows and horses), among other animals. My sister still does eventing competitively. I have grown up living away from home as I went to boarding school since the age of 11, and also lived in Germany for a year when I was 16 to learn German, as my father is German and too lazy to teach me.
As you would expect on this site, I love travelling and try to as often as I can between college and work. I work in a theatre in Dublin and with the money plan on interrailing through Europe this Summer. Two years ago I travelled through Central America and I have a mission to visit every country in the world... let's see how that goes :p Aside from travelling I love movies/cinema, hanging out with friends, bar/pub crawling and working at the theatre (yes, I actually enjoy my job!).
I would love to begin hosting and showing people the hidden spots of Dublin, and not just the tourist-y stuff. I can recommend places to visit both in Dublin and Ireland as well as those countries I have visited already. On the flip side, if you have been somewhere I have not yet been I would love to hear your take on it!
If you want to couch surf at my Dublin apartment, please do read this page and take it all in and make sure you're happy with being on a couch with four other flatmates.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet people of course who have experienced different cultures and areas of the world, and maybe pick up the odd word of a new language. Furthermore, I wish to use couchsurfing to visit countries and see them through the eyes of a local; a local will always have such a better insight and know the hidden hotspots not known to tourists. I hope when I couchsurf my hosts will help me find the best bars, pubs, museums and attractions!
