Overview
About Me
Hey! I'm a twenty-something British gal from the North of England but currently making a living in London. I studied a bachelor's in medical sciences and then decided all of the stress of being a medic wasn't for me so I quit and went back-packing round India and South-East Asia. Now I'm back in the West earning a bit of cash running a backpackers hostel and planning my next big trip! In the meantime I'm jogging and doing a bit of yoga to attempt to stay fit. I speak french and love languages, although I'm pretty bad at picking them up, I will try. I love meeting new people, travelling, good, fresh food, alcohol and sunny weather. I also play the cello and piano and can often be heard singing off key and wiggling my hips in an awkward attempt at dancing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting people, especially people who are from a different country than me. I love to hear about their experiences, their beliefs and their way of life. I thoroughly believe that the way I have been brought up and the way I see the world is not the only nor the best way. I want to learn how other people do it! And the best way to do this is to meet locals while I'm travelling.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music-I listen to anything, I'm currently having a phase on the eighties, lots of the eurythmics, Billy Idol, that sort of thing! But I also love some modern stuff (Ed Sheeran, Adele etc) or jazz, classical.
I love the Game of Thrones books, Harry Potter of course, I never travel without a novel or three.
My fav movie is probably Dirty Dancing, I enjoy all the old classics, Grease, Gone with the Wind etc
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've been playing the cello for 15 years.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can help with languages, English and French. I am also musical, so if anyone has a piano I'd be happy to have a tinkle (or a cello but few people have those lying around unfortunately!!) I am currently attempting to get fit (it's not going very far!!) but would be up for a bit of jogging or swimming if that's what you're into. Otherwise let's share a beer. Cheers! I am hoping to learn everything you have to offer about your country and culture.
