Overview
About Me
Travel is my absolute passion and discovering Couchsurfing presents a wonderful opportunity to get to know the world how I believe should be done, complementing tourist attractions through a local perspective. I consider myself to be a very positive person who is always keen to learn, live new experiences and suck the marrow out of life without forgetting to give something back to less fortunate people and always seeking to care for this beautiful planet we live in!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe that the opportunity to see a city/town through the eyes of it's locals is priceless and so much more the chance to learn from each other and live, share, experience and understand the culture of the place you are going. It is also important to me to get to know people that think different because that is when one has the most amazing experiences that challenge what you believe and the most interesting conversations.
Finally, I also think CS helps make the world a nicer place by helping people to share ideas and take care of each other.
Interests
Besides traveling, which is at the top of my priorities, I do love to sit back and relax with a cup of tea and immerse myself in a sci-fi adventure or some highly recommended universal literature. However, when I find myself with a little more time, I enjoy trying new recipes and going to the theatre as often as possible.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travel to the Tayrona Park, one of the most beautiful places I've seen.
Bungee jumping (where I actually broke my arm).
Backpacking around europe with my dad (not knowing half the time where we were going).
Paragliding above the Cañon del Chicamocha and Rafting along its river with the love of my life.
Teach, Learn, Share
Traveling has taught me more than I have learned after about 7 years of higher education. I have learned to be more compassionate and appreciate the little things in life, but also to be strong when adversity comes. Furthermore, not only traveling occasionally but living in foreign countries has opened my eyes to new ways of seeing the world which in turn have made me more tolerant and empathic. I try to use these experiences to motivate my friends and students to travel more in order to get to know themselves better and make a better world together.
