My name is Catherine and I'm from Tasmania, Australia. I've worked in retail for the past 4 years, and at a cafe in a museum for 2 years. Growing up, my parents would take me out of school to go traveling, as they said "education is more important than school", and I have to agree! I have a Dutch heritage, and this year my brother and I are returning to the Motherland to explore/work/learn.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I joined Couchsurfing to meet people I wouldn't otherwise meet - make new friends and have new experiences. When I am back from my travels, hopefully I'll be able to return the favour!

Most music is alright, same goes for movies, except I don't like horror... Any book can be a good read if you're incredibly bored - but I prefer biographies and non-fiction.
