Keep living well - do as much travelling as possible before I get tied down with mortgages, babies or other responsibilities.

I'm sociable, friendly and get on well with nearly everyone. I like to play music and meet new people. I'm fairly laid back but I like to go out and do new things have adventures.

PHILOSOPHY

Living well is to laugh and smile a lot. If you don't enjoy what you're doing, then stop doing it ...unless you're really going let someone down. Then you have to decide what's more important.
I'm very lucky to have a great life!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

No-one through couch surfing has ever asked to stay at my place in this sleepy little town, but when I was living in a slightly more happening town I always enjoyed having people sleep on my couch.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I travelled around America for 3 months in 2012 and stayed with a few friends and did a fair amount of couch surfing and made new friends.

That said, I've had plenty of people sleeping on my couch before - especially musicians or people that I've met at festivals who want to come and visit Bournemouth.

Interests

I play a lot of music and I like going out and watching live music. I like anything really, but my roots are in folk music. I love banjos and fiddles but my tastes aren't limited to this.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love most music but love folk/bluegrass or anything with banjos and fiddles.

I've recently read a lot of Nick Hornby.
I'll watch and enjoy most movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just got back from an amazing little tour in Germany. We played in the Black Forest which was awesome to drive through. We had time to go for a walk there too. Just beautiful - and steep!

My other amazing things would all be music-related, from playing some awesome venues and festivals, to just attending, hanging out and watching some great music. I play a lot and get to attend loads of festivals every year.
