Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My place for couch surfers is very nice. The highest cost item when traveling is accomodation and I am pleased to offer JUST that. I don't cook for people, or entertain them, or adopt them. If I get a break from work I am happy to visit with folks. My biggest peeve with some couch surfers are those who ask to come, are accepted, and never call or show up. I have prepared the room, planned to be around to welcome folks, kicked out whoever was already there, and really don't benefit from the week later apology. IF YOU CANT COME AFTER BEING ACCEPTED> THEN TELL A PERSON - you spoil surfing this way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My teacher friends are hosts and I have enjoyed meeting their guests. So I have had couch surfers at my house over the last 10 months, and they have been wonderful people! What an enrichment to my life.

Interests

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I danced with my son at his wedding, when I first saw my daughter in a wedding dress, and every moment I spent in Prague, all left me awestruck.
