ABOUT ME

We are two students from Quebec city. We've know each other for 6 years now and we've been planning on doing a trip together for almost as long as we've known each other. We are on a 2 months trip to France, Italy and Portugal and we hope to meet some of you on our way. We love to meet new people, discover new cultures, new ways of seeing the world around us.

We're always ready to get into discussions about pretty much anything. We love to have fun, laugh the more we can (that we do a lot), enjoy life even in the simpliest ways.

PHILOSOPHY

Might be "Cliché" tough Carpe diem is one of the ways we want to live our lives. Respect of others (culture, religions, politics) and communication are the key to a healthy world (tough it's not always applied by the people ruling it).

We talk about the project to the people we meet and that want to travel around. Trying to promote as much as possible this amazing way to discover the world!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I (Elise) have been doing couchsurfing in Europe a few times already and have hosted a few people at my place in Quebec, tough I wish I could have hosted more. You can check my other profile (Elise & Isa) to see for my previous references. Catherine is new to CS, but she's know it for a while now and has always wanted to try it.

- Le Fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulin because we relay a lot to it's philosophy but there is many other movies that we enjoyed.
- Jacques Poulin et Yves Beauchemin (Quebecer writers), Alexandre Dumas, Boris Vian, Amélie Nothomb, etc.

Teach, Learn, Share

Catherine has been a dance teacher for a lot time, so if anyone's interested in a dance lesson ;)She has tried many different style (the latest being swing) and she would love to learn new one's. Elise has a pretty good knolewdge of Canada's and Quebec's history (she teaches it), and she has a wide interest in every thing that touches history, politics, religion, culture and is always ready to share and discuss about it.
