About Me

5 years ago I left my home continent Europe for the very frist time. Ever since then the world has become my oyster. I have found friendship, love, happiness and generosity and various countries and want to share that with others. Meeting new people, learning new languages, exchanging passion, good vibes, adventures and experiences makes me grow every day and I love to share all that with others. I am open-minded, spontaneous, neat, polite and I bring good spirits with me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

There is nothing more exciting than seeing a new place through a local's view. I have seen quite a bit in Europe and the USA myself and there is little that's more rewarding than sharing what I know about a certain place with someone else. Exploring places together doubles the fun. Meeting new people broaden's one's personal horizon.

Interests

I LOVE to learn about different cultures. I am totally into languages and soak up every cultural input I can get. Different cuisine, music, language - all that excites me. I am a psych student and it sure was my innate love and fascination for people and their different personalities that made me choose that career. I love to chat with people and eventually get to deeper conversations but I can also be observant and I respect people's privacy! I love to cook and bake and am grateful for new inspiration.

Music, Movies, and Books

As much as I absolutely enjoy movies and would almost consider myself a cineast, I have a hard time picking my favorite one... I love the passion for the detail in "Amelie", the absurd humor of Wes Anderson movies as much as the excitement of seeing the newest blockbuster with some popcorn in my hand.

Music has to fit my mood. Books are a rare luxury my studies have given little room for. The last book I thoroughly enjoyed through and through was "The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared" by Jonas Jonasson. Books let me travel the world when I am forced to stay in one place.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Got on an airplane to see someone I loved without that person knowing about it - I flew from Europe to the US to appear on his front door and surprise him.
