About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I have no idea what I'm doing-but I'm super excited!
ABOUT ME
After I graduated college I spent a few years living in Germany, then moved back to the states and settled down a bit. I’m currently on the west coast (and loving it!) but recently I decided to do a career change and so I’m planning on doing some traveling over the next year to figure out where I want to move next!
I grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and love traveling, meeting new people, and trying new things-be it a food I've never heard of or an activity (canyoning and deep-water soloing are all on my 'to do' list :) I'm fairly relaxed when it comes to planning, and while I like having an agenda, I’m also very adaptable. I want to go places and meet people who matter to me personally, so I don’t mind skipping the big, popular tourist sites if there's something more exciting hidden around the next corner. I'm relatively new to couch surfing but the few experiences I've had with hosts have been amazing and I'm thrilled to continue the journey!
PHILOSOPHY
As my mission states "I have no idea what I'm doing-but I'm super excited!" I love learning, growing, and exploring! Admittedly, I'm still trying to find that balance between harmony and chaos, but I readily acknowledge the beauty of both.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I haven't hosted anyone yet, but I did do some couch surfing in Granada and Cordoba when a friend and I were traveling through Spain. It was awesome to meet locals who could introduce you to more people, places and customs from the city.
Interests
I'm a bit of a nerd. My favorite past time is reading hands down, and I'm a huge foodie! I love yoga, hiking, and just being out in the sunshine whenever possible. When my friends and I can get the day off you'll typically find us barbequing, by the water, sipping a bottle of wine and I'll usually be catching up on my latest book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think one of my favorite moments so far has been in Granada Spain-by far one of my favorite place on Earth! The whole city is so rich in culture and history, great food and beautiful architecture. My friend and I, after visiting the Alhambra-this beautiful, giant castle-decided to get a better vantage point. We packed up some bread, fruit and a bottle of wine and trekked through the Albayzin, which to us as tourists was a labyrinth of narrow streets, high buildings and cobble stone steps. At the top of this though lies a church, on top of a hill, above the caves around the outer wall of the city-and with this comes the most amazing view of this vast expanse of Granada, the Alhambra, new and old...It was breathe taking and so surprisingly empty-most views like this are littered with other site seers and tourist-but we were completely alone-it was silent and the weather was perfect and I couldn't have planned a better day.
