ABOUT ME

I live walking in the path of light. I try to live a life full of joy and exploration. I have a lot of interests including traveling, photography, music, relaxing in cafes, and playing sports. I recently graduated from college, and am just jumping into the "real world."

Interests

Growing up, I've been lucky to travel to many places around the world. I've traveled around 8 countries Europe with a choir back in high school and have backpacked around Spain with my sister. I've also traveled to Puerto Rico, Mexico, Argentina, Dominican Republic, Canada, and my favorite: Honduras. Coming from a Honduran background, I've been going to Honduras for vacation and charity work almost every summer for my whole life. It is my favorite place to travel to and will be somewhere I continue to go to often for all of my life.
One of my favorite things to do while traveling is to take photos. I've always been a huge fan of photography and always take my dslr with me on trips.
I love music! I love singing and sing throughout the day whether in the shower, cooking, or taking a stroll somewhere. I can play a bit of piano and want to learn how to play the guitar! I love to just hangout and jamm with people.
One of my dreams is to open up either a cafe or B&B where I can welcome people in to hangout, relax, and share! Share experiences, share music, share knowledge, etc! I would probably have a weekly open-mic night so people can share their talents of music, story-telling, comedy, or anything really! And maybe even a weekly book-club meeting. The main goal is to have people build relationships with others in the community or travelers dropping in. One of my favorite things to do is just sit in a cafe and enjoy great conversation over a cup o f coffee or tea. Being able to get to know someone on a deep, personal level is wonderful.
I like to keep active and play sports, especially basketball and soccer. I'm known as one of the very few girls who plays pickup ball at the gym which is always pretty fun. I like to stay in shape and playing sports or taking classes like kickboxing or zumba are a lot more fun than just going on a run.
