About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Live, travel, learn, write, read, drink coffee, pet all the dogs, repeat.
ABOUT ME
I'm a Québécoise (French Canadian) studying journalism and I also have a degree in International (Development) Studies, which doesn't mean much except that I love to learn about pretty much everything. I want to see and understand the world as much as I possibly can! I want my life to be an adventure, I love to get out of my comfort zone and I'm always up to try something new, but I'm also very calm and down to earth.
PHILOSOPHY
« Because in the end, you won't remember the time you spent working in the office or mowing your law. Climb that goddam mountain. » - Jack Kerouac
That quote pretty much sums it up for me. Know yourself, what you want and what really matters to you... and just go for it. Live it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I can't host right now, but I'm always happy to hang out and help in any way that I can!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first couchsurfing experiences were when I traveled in Argentina for 3 months in 2013. It allowed me to meet so many kind, generous and fun people and to make so many incredible memories! Couchsurfing through Argentina was one of the best decisions of my life.
Interests
Reading, writing, travelling, camping, hiking, drinking way too much coffee, eating pizza, listening to music, and petting dogs.
Subjects I'm interested in would be political science, anthropology, feminism, and so. much. more. There is something interesting to be told about everything and everyone.

Music, Movies, and Books
If you don't like reading, you just didn't find the right book yet.
I can't remember where I heard this, but I find it very true. And I definitely found my book! It's L'Écume des jours by Boris Vian. It's such a beautiful story, and so well written, it always makes me laugh and cry at the same time.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiking on a glacier in Iceland was really amazing. It was rainy and foggy which could have ruined the day, but not at all, I actually found that it made the scenery look even more magical and unreal. I still have shivers just thinking about it!
Working for a women's rights advocacy group in Tunis was also an incredible learning and growing experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach french and english and I'd be happy to share everything I learned during my studies and travels.
