ABOUT ME

I'm a fun-loving, free spirited gal from the west coast who has recently moved to Montreal to experience another city and will eventually go to school here. Right now I want to travel and experience as much as I can before hunkering down and studying my ass off.
I'm a vegetarian but am not preachy to omnivores, maybe just carnivores though (not healthy!).
I love animals, I have a cat here in Montreal, but love dogs too.
Right now I'm a bartender in a dive-bar in Montreal and love it. That's how I made my life here, just working in the industry and I love meeting new people.

PHILOSOPHY

To look for the best in everybody and live life to the fullest. To get something from others you have to give something from yourself (aka, be generous and giving).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've couch surfed once and am traveling at the moment, so hoping to surf until I return to Montreal, then I'll begin hosting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed once in Miami and it wasn't the best experience. The host didn't let his roommate know we were coming, who got upset.

I've met a couple people on cs and hope to meet more, travel, surf and host!

Interesses

I love getting outside, going for walks, runs and hikes. I used to snowboard a lot back in B.C. and surf in Tofino/Ucuelet. I skateboard, longboard, and skimboard as well. I've ran 4 half marathons and am planning on training for a full this spring/summer.
I work really hard and therefore, play hard too. I love socializing, going out with friends and meeting new people.
I also play the saxophone a bit :)

Seeing someone do something kind to another person, a stranger. Can be as simple as giving up a seat on the bus, giving them an umbrella during a rainstorm, to dedicating their life to help others in need.

A skill or special knowledge I can teach? Hm... I guess I'm really good at interacting/ talking with people. Always have been, since I was little I could talk to anyone about anything. It drove my Mom nuts!
I love learning about other cultures. I've been studying psychology and one of my favorite classes was a culture and psych course. So interesting!
I want to share every experience with someone. It makes it more special :)
