Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Learn and explore! Life is strange and confusing, but also unfathomably beautiful. So, plunge headfirst into the chaos.
ABOUT ME
Human (although I have been told I look like a praying mantis when I dance). I like eating with my hands, talking about feminism and being naked. Hungry for fun, knowledge and new experiences.
I write and take photographs, and sometimes sell myself to capitalism to get by. The project I'm currently working on at the moment - https://mydaywith.net/ - aims to show the diversity of human experience, and create any small sense of understanding others (Cape Town is a very segregated place in terms of wealth, race, culture etc. and I feel we are all too afraid of those people not like us).
PHILOSOPHY
Kindness, Freedom
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I lived at home with my parents so I cannot host people, but I have had some wonderful times surfing for which I am very grateful. I know CS is not about "free accomodation" but about laughing and interaction. I like to cook a meal for/with my hosts to thank them.
Interests
Margaritas, good conversation, dancing, summer, mangoes. Art. Reading.
Any form of exercize, particularly hiking and yoga.
I studied English Literature and International Relations, so reading mind-bending and emotionally ravaging literature, which I intersperse with trashy novels.
I am passionate about South Africa, my home for 23 years and favourite place in the world, but I have been lucky to travel some amazing places - China, India and Mozambique were some of my favorites.
There is so much I still want to see.

- literature
