i like meeting people not just places. buildings dont have a heart. i get involved with the community and what a community has to offer. i like new challenges and learning from my mistakes. life is a gift for us to get involved with and enjoy.making sure there is a balance between work and play.

Interests

catching up with friends at a cafe. community events, getting to the heart of people and places. tramping, swimming, horse riding, bike riding, camping that gets you outside and connected with life. bee keeping and growing my own food.
ballroom dancing, movies, playing pool or darts, going to the theatre or local pubs for when the winter weather sets in

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

surviving a fierce roaring 40s storm to sail into Hobart, Tasmania, Australia after sailing from the Americas Cup in Freemantle, Perth, Australia
winning a showjumping cup with my big boy even though he bucked his way around the course!!! with joy of course knowing that i would stay onboard with him in New Zealand
bagging a grouse for dinner while carrying a shot gun for bears in Canada
being taken by a local indian to their burial grounds for cook blue crab on the beach of their island in Alaska
