Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am friendly, I am kind. I keep busy and also know how to relax. I love my friends, I love my dog, I love to read, I love to eat, I love the movies, I love to sleep, I actually sometimes love my job, and I love my family. And I'm trying to be able to look back and say "Well done!" At 45, I'm probably halfway done here.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to couchsurfing. Heard about it from a fellow volunteer at my local public radio station who's traveled the world on it as a senior citizen. Impressive! I've hosted twice so far and hope to surf in Maui later this summer (2014) when there for a dear friend's wedding.

Interests

Reading, cooking, hanging out with friends, walking on the beach, going to the movies, and I'm currently fostering a dog!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all independent film, documentaries and French films above all else. And I will pretty much see ANYTHING. I love to read, novels and nonfiction both. I love music. My current favorites include Joan Osborne, Bliss, One Eskimo, Bastille, and OAR.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled to the Galapagos Islands with my family.
I flew over the volcanoes in Hawaii.
I skied Alta for one fabulous weekend.
I made a lifetime friend on a one-day stay in London.
