About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To meet new people who come from various cultures and countries and to pick their brains on each and every topic that I can think of!
ABOUT ME
I'm an open-minded person that loves travelling and meeting new people. I love sharing what I know and learning new things. I'm a pretty active person but I have my moments when I just want to curl up with my book on my lap and a hot mug of tea. I like going out and meeting with people, so if you want to go for a party or to a bar I'm all for it!
I have quite an ironic sense of humour and I like crazy ideas, but I can be serious and down-to-earth when need be. Also, if you just have time to spare and would like to exchange some ideas or views don't hesitate to write to me.
PHILOSOPHY
My motto that I try to live by is a line from Robert Frost's poem: A path diverged in a wood and I took the less trodden one. I believe that you have to stay true to yourself and enjoy every second of it, without any qualms or pangs of conscience that you're not conforming to others.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been here for a while now and I believe this website is one of the best social and community ideas that I've ever encountered. It's a wonderful opportunity to share with others, especially people who you'd probably never meet but for CS!
I've met so many wonderful people through CS, two of which became my roomies!! So, go CS!
Interests
I have a lot of interests that I try to pursue in my free time. Part of it I spend actively in dancing (predominantly Scottish and Irish dancing, but I've recently started to explore tango!), volleyball practice, hiking or riding my bike.
At the same time I enjoy reading books (I'm into Science Fiction and Fantasy mostly), learning foreign languages and doing manual things like crotcheting, naalbinding and embroidery. I'll gladly share what I know if you like.
