Hey everybody! :)
My name is Cathrin and I'm 29. Quite a while ago I really started enjoying to get to know new people. It's amazing how you always find some interesting topics to talk about with people you haven't known before. During my schooltime I wasn't that open-minded to new people but since my studies I love meeting people and travelling more and more. Especially I used my two semesters abroad in Taiwan to travel a lot in Asia! I really enjoy exploring different cultures and countries. Apart from couchsurfing I'm also a big fan of hitchhiking :)

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

Yeah, as you might know, I like to get to know new people and couchsurfing is a great way for it. And you get the chance to explore a city/area more like a local and not "just" as a tourist. I've already surfed a few times and I really enjoyed it!
After living for a lot of years in places where hosting would have been tricky, I finally live in a place where I can host! :) More about that in the corresponding section.

Centres d'intérêt

I like doing music, especially playing the classical guitar, cello and some piano. Furthermore I usually enjoy doing sports e.g. going running, cycling, bouldering, dancing, and swimming. I love baking - particulary German Christmas stuff! And sometimes I sew.

Would be awesome if eg we could make some music together!

To be honest, I'm not watching that many movies. But in accompany I really enjoy movie-evenings.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

As I play the classical guitar I can teach you playing some chords or even classical guitar (like fingerstyle) or basics in cello. Another idea is baking together e.g. some German cakes :) Oh and of course I will teach you some German, if you're interested in! Currently I'm really eager to learn Chinese and improve my Spanish. As I like hitchhiking as well I like to get to know something about hitchiking in other cultures as well :)
