I am a thoughtful person who likes adventuring outdoors. My friends tell me that I am kind and altruistic (which seems like a fitting description of couchsurfing as well). I love gardening, playing music, and building things.

I recently graduated from college. I worked on an organic farm, as a research assistant, and just started a job as a bike mechanic's apprentice in Chicago.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last night, I biked by a field of soybeans that was covered in fireflies. Not that I havent seen many fields of fireflies growing up in the midwest of the United States, but this dusk was particularly stunning. Just in its simplicity. Sometimes its the day to day experiences that leave me remembering how many incredible things are happening all the time.
