About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To constantly challenge comfort zones in the pursuit of meaningful growth!
ABOUT ME
Grew up outside of Philadelphia, graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, and then moved to Ivory Coast on a Fulbright grant to work in education and sexual violence prevention. My nine months in West Africa were full of incredible food, community, joy, dancing, and affirmation. After my fellowship was finished, I decided to use the rest of my savings to travel the world! I began by exploring more of Africa, visiting Senegal, Morocco, and Tanzania (climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro and then went on safari!). Then I set off to Europe for three months and then SE Asia for 3.5 months. Travel has been the source of my most profound growths, dearest friendships, and best adventures.
PHILOSOPHY
Strangers are friends yet to be made :)
A positive attitude yields positive results.
Never doubt the power of a small act of kindness.
Let us then see what love can do.
There is always more over which we can agree and bond than disagree and despair.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Best way to learn a new place is by making a new friend. Hoping to see the world and more of its lovely people through this site. Currently roaming so unable to host, but once I pause long enough to call a city home, my couch is up for grabs!
Interests
Where to begin? I'm always game to try new things, but some of my proven favorites are traveling, reading, writing, watching films, running, skiing, hiking, people watching, eating good food, enjoying live music, dancing, studying history, taking long walks, scuba diving, swimming in the ocean, and having honest, earnest conversations with friends.

Teach, Learn, Share
I nurture a fervent love for learning, so anything you have to teach is welcome.
As for sharing - I'm a completely open book when it comes to my stories, thoughts, feelings, experiences, ambitions, opinions, etc. I welcome earnest questions and unfiltered exchange.
Lastly, teaching. It seems rather presumptuous to assume I have something to teach you, but I'm as liberal with my skills and abilities as I am with my stories; so ask and I shall try to deliver!
