Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined CS to host through Spring/Summer 08 before heading to Tunis and surfing for a few days, also to meet people I could practice my appalling French with. Now I'm planning a research trip to the US, and would love to meet people living in/around the places I'll visit. I'm always up for a coffee and maybe a stroll with anyone keen on London, and when my situation changes will again be able to offer a bed!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A friend I met in Vienna invited me to stay with her in Romania. She was living in a hut in the hills of Transylvania, looking after wolves. We met with them every day in the snow, listened to them howl each night, and drank plenty of absinthe to keep the cold out.
