Hi, I'm Cath. I'm 24 and I live in the beautiful city of Bath in England. I do support work with deaf people, which I thoroughly enjoy! I have a qualification in British Sign Language Level 2 :) I'm an introverted yet social person, and like a good balance of time for myself and also with others. I'm very independent and so enjoy exploring things and going travelling and to gigs and stuff by myself, as I also find its the best way to meet new people too! But I also enjoy going to gigs, festival and other fun events and parties with friends too. I'm a very considerate, understanding, chilled and empathetic person and find it easy to make conversation with new people. I'm all about equality, and respect myself as a feminist. I have a lot of time for people and like to make people feel included. I have recently started the habit of wearing glitter wherever I can, as it simply attracts those magic moments!! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing because it would be a good way for me to meet other people! I am constantly going to gigs around the country - and am planning on going to Riot Fest in Chicago! :D which gives me the opportunity of also meeting people in the area who are kind enough to let people crash on their couch!

Interests

I spend most of my money on gig tickets. My most recent gig was seeing Greenday in Hyde Park in London, with support from Rancid and Gogol Bordello. And my next upcoming gig will be Riot Fest in Chicago (!!!) where I'll be seeing Nine Inch Nails, Queens of the Stone Age, Bad Brains, FIDLAR, Prophets of Rage, Dinosaur Jr and many many more awesome bands :D :D I also go to local gigs in Bath and Bristol when I can too.

I have recently started roller skating :D with the aim of learning how to play Roller Derby - woo! I also play a bit of rhythm guitar in my spare time too and love journaling and making random art. I also love watching films - cult classics, horror, sci-fi etc. I also watch Ru Paul's Drag Race and went to my first Drag Show in Bristol recently where I saw Willam and Sharon Needles.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A couple years ago I rescued a kitten who was clearly being malnourished and neglected by its owners. Her name was Sutu - she spent one night in the apartment where I was staying at the time. At first she was scared and hiding behind the sofa. But whilst I was sleeping she came out and fell asleep next to me t. She got re-homed with the Bath Cats and Dogs Home afterwards.
