ABOUT ME

I'm a very upbeat and friendly person. I'm easy to talk to and I'm interested in people. I'm not uptight or easily offended. I take things in stride. I think it's great that we as people are all different and unique and I like discovering the differences and celebrating them. I love the various ways that people express themselves, especially the arts.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm a very faith filled person and I operate from that position. I'm here on this earth to reflect my creator and His goodness and I'll spend my life on this earth trying to perfect that - because I sometimes miss the mark and let the ugly stuff of my day get in the way of being patient, kind or gentle. But for the most part I have my purpose before me and I love the journey.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couch surfed before there was couch surfing! I've stayed with strangers and acquaintances and loved every minute of it. Sure sometimes it's awkward like figuring out the bathroom schedule or stuff like that but the benefits have always out weighed the discomfort 10 to 1.

兴趣

I love grabbing coffee with friends and making new friends at our local coffee house. I love to travel but I'm also very engaged in my community. I love to worship and pray and dialog with people at my church and in other people's places of worship. It's so cool to meet people and find the thing that connects us. Sometimes it's our faith, but other times it's sports, books, movies or whatever else we're up to.

I like most movies - adventure, drama, comedy, action; I love to read and I'm in a book club. Music is foundational and I listen to it everyday. My sons are musicians too so I get lots of variety and mostly enjoy it all, except rap.

This past August my oldest son got married and I was awestruck by the wedding. So many of my friends came to help put this wedding on. It was amazing and humbling! Then to witness the love the my son and new daughter have for each other on a daily basis - it leaves me speechless, and gives me hope for this world.

We live nearby Hume Lake California and I was just up on the snow covered mountain recently enjoying God's creative beauty. It is always inspiring and moving to be under the stars and away from cellular demands. I was both moved and stirred in the quiet of the trees and stillness of the lake.

My husband and I both attended Bible college and we love studying it. We are not up tight about people agreeing with us nor do we feel like we have to talk about it. We are seasoned and comfortable with ourselves and others but if anyone wants to dig in, we love this kind of learning. I am also really into healthy eating and nutrition.
