I am a journalist/student in Vienna, Austria. I am a newbie on Couchsurfing –but I've done a lot of airbnb if that counts ;) I've mostly travelled in Europe and Asia, done a little of the States (only very little though). I'm passionate about my work, my friends, I like books, ballet and photography. And my motorbike (a KTM, for those in the know).

God! Meet the people. What better way of getting a feel for a new city, state, country, continent than to live with locals. I much prefer staying with someone, having the chance to making new friends miles from home and enjoy a local's secret tips than staying in a sterile hotel where the odds of getting to know someone are pretty tiny.
