ABOUT ME

We are Cathy & Neal - a Scottish/Kiwi couple now living in New Zealand.

We've recently moved to NZ (Neal's home country) after spending the past 5 years in London.

On our way to NZ, we had a fantastic time exploring Latin America where we first tried Couch Surfing.

Now we are settled here, we'd like to meet new people from across the world and introduce them to our new home town and the Kiwi way of life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We're interested in hosting other travellers at our home. if we travel ourselves, we'd definitely consider couch surfing at someone else's place again.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Relative newbies. We dipped our toes in the water in Latin America. But new to hosting.

We enjoy getting outdoors, being active and exploring our surroundings (will try anything from volcano boarding to skiing and horse riding). We like meeting new people, exchanging stories and learning about new cultures. We´re easy going and will try our hands at most things, so keen to try new experiences!

音乐、电影和书籍

We´ve got pretty different tastes in terms of books. I particularly like Latin American authors like Garcia Marquez and Allende but I´ll read anything. Neal likes biographies and factual reads. We both have wide and eclectic musical tastes and like lots of old classics as well as the latest hits.

Trekking the Inca trail at New Year - it was a tough and challenging slog but well worth it for the incredible scenery, the feeling of accomplishment and the amazing Machu Picchu which waits you at the end.
