Overview
About Me
I have recently updated my profile to "not accepting guests".
CURRENT MISSION
I am a generally happy, uncomplicated soul - something I have been blessed with naturally - not somethng I can take credit for at all. Enjoy my life and loves, be kind, silly and fun
ABOUT ME
We live on the Sunshine Coast of BC, a 40 minute ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay in Vancouver to Langdale on the Sunshine Coast. There is bus service to some areas but you are better with a car. It's a great area for mountain biking, hiking and water sports.
I am a mother to three, step mother to two, grandmother to 7. We live in a Cape Cod styled house with a large fenced yard and a fish pond - complete with fish if I can keep the local wildlife from eating them.
We have one dog, Chloe who sadly is terrified of people and we are working on that. Guests would likely help her with that.
I love to cook, read, garden and explore in our sailboat. Good with having kids couchsurf with their parents. Have a pull up crib and likely enough toys and books to keep them amused.
PHILOSOPHY
Wow. It all goes around and comes around would be my first reaction. Honesty, behaving with integrity are important to me. Not a game player. Hate that.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have two extra bedrooms and each sleep two people. The only thing I ask, is that you be respectful and change the sheets on the beds for me when you leave.
You'd need a car up here as bus service doesn't go everywhere here and there are some great places to see.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Overall it has been really good once I understood the "rules" . I have met largely wonderful people.

Music, Movies, and Books
Mostly documentaries. A variety of music - good old rock and roll when I am working around the house and yard
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
We took our 22 foot sailboat down the Yukon River, Bering Sea and Bristol Bay - then explored the Mackenzie River and the area around Tuk in the Arctic Ocean.
