Hello there! I'm a 24-year old French girl who's just finished translation studies. Like all couchsurfers, I'm a travel addict and I guess it started when I was a kid as I grew up in France but in a Polish family so I was used to spend the entire summer at my grandparents' place in Poland and travel with them :) I've always been eager to discover new parts of the world and new cultures!

Regarding my personnality, I'm a chill person but I can also be very lively, laugh a lot, and tell lots of bullshit haha. I love dancing and going to concerts! I'm always trying not to be judgmental, to be open-minded and respectful because I believe it is the key to good relations between people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I registered on Couchsurfing because I think it's a great way to meet new people and especially locals from the country you visit, which is not the case when you book a hostel for example. I'm really looking for an exchange between people, to share advice, stories, experiences and why not even start new friendships :)

Interests

I'm a nature lover that's why I love hiking and going for walks especially in the mountains where I feel the best! I'm not very sporty but I do enjoy badminton and cycling especially as a mean of transport!

I love cinema and watching independent movies, that's I chose to become an audiovisual translator to translate movies and documentaries :)

I watch many independent movies but among the best known ones, there is Fight Club, Into the Wild, Wes Anderson movies, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Xavier Dolan's movies, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived one year in Austria as an exchange student and I really consider it as the best year of my life! I met people from all over the world (for example my flatmates were from the USA, Sudan and Afghanistan) and I could travel all the time to Austria's neighbour countries such as Italy, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Czech Republic, etc. This experience obviously also taught me how to adapt to a new culture, language and country!
