I like to think I am friendly and perhaps somewhat excitable, maybe "easily pleased" is the right description. I like to meet new people and find out about people's lives and opinions, I find it very fascinating :) I love hiking in mountains, taking pictures of insects and birds (when they don't fly off) and seeing beautiful calm places. I take any opportunity to improve my Japanese language skills, I am really enjoying studying and attempting to use the language. I think I need some friends in Japan!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel and I'm lucky to be beginning to travel a lot for my job, but hotels are lonely places :( if I'm travelling alone I'd much rather make a friend to go sightseeing with than go on my own!! :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Stayed overnight on the top of mount Teide in Tenerife, and walked up to the top of the mountain in the early morning to see the shadow of the mountain in the sky at sunrise. That was very amazing!
