ABOUT ME

I guess the main thing is that I am a little obsessed with work- I am very passionate about what I do. That is not to say I am boring though as I do spend a lot of time out and about town enjoying bars, movies, music and theatre - when time allows of course. I have lived most of my life in Melbourne, close to the city and I love it. I did spend about 10 years away though - studying fish up north and in Florida and also in London trying to save fish.. yes I do like fish too..

PHILOSOPHY

That all people should be treated equal, and that all interactions should be without bias based on class, education, religion, which country you are from or money.

My other philosphy is that we can't live without clean water and air - there is no economy without the environment - and so I choose to live in a manner that is sustainable, that every action in theory would mean I am leaving the world in a better place for the next generation - AS much as I can anyway!!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was introduced to Couch Surfing through a friend who is currently living in Sweden - so I have got to know the Stockholm CS group, and have learned a lot about this Couch Surfing thing! I am really impressed at what this network can do for both hosts and surfers; especially the instant social network for those just new to the city. I look forward to hosting people in Melbourne as I love the city and have many great places to show visitors... I then hope to utilise people's couches on my next travelling adventure

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I got to know couch surfers and hosts through meetings in stockholm - and heard many stories 99.99% of them great. I am really enjoying hosting people now I am back in Melbourne.. it is so much fun to share my couch with travellers (as I live in such a convenient location) and to share a beer, meal and tale with them...

I love a lot of books, currently I would highly recommend Shantaram, The Idiot, The Kite Runner
