About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy every moment.

ABOUT ME

I think they would say something like: very relaxed, comes up with quirky facts, loves the sun, goes out of her way to help a friend in need.

PHILOSOPHY

Why live a hurried life of stress when you can choose to relax and smell the roses. I say only do what you believe is right for you and don't ever let anyone tell you that you can't do something if you know that is what's right for you. Believe in yourself!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I couch surf, travel with couch surfers and look forward to hosting!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All very very good! It never ceases to amaze me how generous people can be! It makes me have such hope for humanity!

Interests

Nature's beauty grabs my attention more than anything. I love sitting between the trees hearing the birds sing. When I'm not contemplating wildlife I'm probably doing something sporty such as jogging, swimming or cycling! Or having coffee with friends!

Music, Movies, and Books

Eat, Pray, Love had a strong zen affect on me. I always have a book on me. I listen to a lot of bossa nova Brasilian music and the best movie I have seen lately was "In the land of Blood and Honey" violent yes but very powerful.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lately : Uluru at dusk! Fab! Katherine's Gorge! Awesome! and Coward Springs at Midnight! Gorgeous!

Teach, Learn, Share

Quirky facts:
Sharks are the only known species to never suffer from cancer.

Heavyweights! The tongue of a blue whale could weigh more than a full-grown adult elephant.

Oysters change from male to female gender several times during their lifespan.

Every shrimp is actually born a male and then become females as they mature.

An elephant can smell water from a distance of three miles.

A storage bin! The duckbill platypus is known to store upto six hundred worms in its cheek pouches.

Music lovers! Make a cow listen to music and there will be more milk in the bucket!
