ABOUT ME

My friends have said I'm funny, intuitive, hard-working, thoughtful, and an open-minded person. My best friends are not "like" my family, but are my family even though we don't share the same genes. That said, I'm sure they'd also say I tell it like it is, appreciate open communication even if it is uncomfortable, and like go-with-the-flow people, places, and engaging conversation.

I love relationships of all nature (which is probably why I'm in school for counseling). Talk it out if it's tense, weird or you can't put your finger on it, but recognize that sometimes the mountains speak for themselves.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can be social and I can be quiet...just depends on the general feel of myself and the people I am with. I like couch surfing because I'm much more of a one-on-one/small group type person than a hostel-y, superficial, tons of loud people person.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only surfed-and it was great! Would like to host after this summer!

兴趣

Traveling is so cliche, but so true. I surround myself with open-minded people who have a sense of humor. I spend my time hiking, at the local bar, doing yoga, watching the sunset, writing, reading, trying to play guitar, or whatever the mood strikes.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

1) watching my first sunrise ever from the Len Foote Hike Inn
2) volunteering at a camp for people with TBI and spinal cord injuries adaptive water ski. I observed a man paralyzed from the neck down go from smiling to landing face first in the water, watching lifeguards on jet skis rush to flip him over, watching him cough for what seemed like several minutes, and then hearing him say, "let's do it again."
